SOLICITATION & CHARITABLE DONATIONS
Commercial Solicitation
Our tenants are focused during the business day on providing services to their customers and clients. It is at their preference that solicitation is prohibited on Bayshore property (without an appointment) and via the website. If you have a business offering you believe may be of interest to Bayshore tenants, please use the telephone number or mailing address found on their individual tenant page to request an appointment to present your materials.
Solicitation emails sent to tenants via our 'send a comment' option on the website are not forwarded.
Charitable Donations
This non-solicitation policy also applies to requests for charitable donations from Bayshore or our tenants. To request charitable donations, we advise the same -- use the telephone or send a written request to the manager of the location from which you wish to receive a donation for your organization. With respect to Bayshore, you should send your request in writing to:
Lisa Susen-Sullivan
Marketing Director
Bayshore Town Center
5800 N. Bayshore Dr., Suite A256
Glendale, WI 53217
Please make your request a minimum of four weeks in advance of your charitable event. We receive many requests from organizations all over the metropolitan area and regret that we are not able to assist everyone who requests. Making your request early and for the benefit of a non-profit organization will be helpful.
We are concerned about your privacy and have formulated a privacy policy for your review. It appears below on this page. Here are the answers to other common questions:
How did I get subscribed to the email newsletter?
We do not subscribe people without their specific request. If you do not recall subscribing, it's possible a friend or relative subscribed you. It is simple to unsubscribe if you do not wish to receive further emailings and the instructions are covered here.
How do I remove myself from the Bayshore Invitation email newsletter list?
You may unsubscribe using the 'unsubscribe' link on any newsletter you receive; or, send an email directly to the webmaster requesting removal. Be sure to include the email address where you have been receiving the newsletter when making your request. It's best to unsubscribe using the newsletter link because it contains all the information needed to automatically remove you from the database.
What is the policy on solicitation of tenants via their email links on this website?
In the offline, or "real world," Bayshore does not permit solicitation of its tenants or guests. We extend this policy to our online (website) presence as well. The individual email links to our tenants on this website are intended to provide our website visitors a way to communicate with our tenants. They are not intended to be a vehicle for solicitation of our tenants for business or charitable purposes. Because many of our tenants do not have "in-house" access to email at their business location, emails received via their Bayshore 'send a comment' links are answered by the Webmaster or a member of the Bayshore management team when possible, and, forwarded via fax or hand-delivery to tenants when their personal attention is required. Positive and negative feedback comments are always forwarded to our tenants within 24 hours of their receipt. Solicitation emails are discarded.
Persons wishing to solicit tenants for charitable donations or business purposes are advised to contact tenants by telephone or regular mail to request assistance and an appointment to discuss needs. You will find this contact information on each tenant's individual page on the website. Use our directories to reach these tenant pages.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us...
We have created and will add new features in the future to the Bayshore website. If you wish to use these features, you may be asked to share certain information with us. We respect your right to privacy and want you to know why we may ask for information and what happens to it after it is collected.
When you send our tenants email via their individual web page...
Many of our tenants do not have email service available at their locations, or, may not check it frequently. Your email, when sent via this website, is received by the Bayshore Webmaster and is usually answered within 24 hours. All "comment" emails -- positive and negative -- are shared with tenants by senior management of the property. We do not collect your email address in this process without your permission and we do not share your information without your permission. We answer email for our tenants (with regard to general questions) to assure you receive a timely response.
We don't permit the solicitation of business or charitable donations of our tenants via the Bayshore website. We have a "no solicitation" policy in the offline or "real world" at Bayshore and we extend this policy to our online world so solicitation emails sent via the 'send comment' function on a tenant page will not be forwarded.
When you opt to receive email from individual tenants via our email form ...
In order to provide you with invitations for events and offers that will interest you, you may have the option of sharing your preferences in activities and tenants at Bayshore. We do not offer any of our emailing address lists for sale to bulk emailers. If we do provide your email address to a third party, it will be at your specific request.
The definition of 'cookies'...
Cookies are created by the websites you visit much like your dry cleaner creates a claim check for you. You leave the dry cleaner with your claim check and when you return, you pick up what you dropped off.
If we do use cookies, our cookies do not follow you from our website to other websites. They cannot gather information from your hard drive about who you are, where you live, how much money you make or what your credit card numbers are. Our cookies simply allow our website to recognize you when you return so that we can make your visit more personal and relevant to your interests.
Cookies are stored in files your browser keeps and can be deleted by you at any time. If you don't revisit a website for awhile, your browser may do the deleting for you.
We use cookies to understand which offers or invitations are meaningful to our visitors. If we are interested in more detailed information about you, we will always ask for it in an open way and will only share that information with your permission.
Keeping your information secure...
We use reasonable precautions to keep the personal information you disclose to us secure.
General Privacy...
From time to time, you may find links on our site to outside parties' sites (for example, our tenants' corporate websites). We cannot control their privacy policies and can only recommend that if privacy is of concern to you that you seek out and read their privacy statements prior to disclosing any personal information while visiting these sites.
While Bayshore is very much a place where families can enjoy time together, we are also home to venues for adult patrons. Our online presence will reflect the interests of both of these groups. We encourage parents to monitor their children's activities while visiting any online property, including our own. We will never ask visitors under 18 years of age for information about themselves or their families. If your child wishes to enter an online contest (without age restrictions) hosted on this website, we ask that you enter for them.
We are always receptive to your thoughts and concerns about privacy, interactivity, and content on the Internet -- specifically on this site. This is still a rapidly expanding universe for all of us. If there is something we can do to make the experience faster, more pleasant, more reliable, or more trustworthy we want to hear from you. Please send those suggestions to us using our Suggestions & Feedback form.

Welcome to Bayshore! All of our buildings, the garages as well as the streets and Town Square, are privately owned. We reserve the right to define the rules of conduct acceptable to us in order to allow admission to be on our property. We have listed below some of these rules for the information of our guests and ask that you be guided accordingly.
Bayshore is for shopping and entertainment. While here, treat others as you would like to be treated. The following conduct is not acceptable on Bayshore property.
Discourteous Behavior
This can be described as rude behavior or behavior which may cause inconvenience to others, anything that is ill-mannered or disrespectful.
The Bayshore Parental Escort Policy
The Parental Escort Policy states that children under the age of 16 may not remain in the public space of Bayshore after 9:00 PM unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21.
How is the policy enforced?
If security determines that an individual or group is under the age of 16 and is unaccompanied by an adult after 9:00 PM, they will be asked to leave the center.
How will you identify children under the age of 16?
To enforce the rules relating to minors, patrons are required to carry a photo ID with proof of age.
What about teens that work at Bayshore?
Teens 16 and over that work at Bayshore after 9:00 PM will not be affected by this policy. This policy applies only to children 15 and under.
What if the individual is unable to provide appropriate identification?
The individual will be asked to leave the property until they can return with appropriate ID.
Is the policy 'one child to one adult'?
No. One adult can be responsible for several youths with proper supervision and control of their behavior.
Do I have to be with my child?
Yes. An adult must maintain visual contact with the children for whom he or she is responsible, if not, they will be asked to leave.
Are there any other rules of which I should be aware?
A complete list of the Bayshore's Code of Conduct is displayed on signage around the property and appears in this Guest Information section.
Violators of these codes may be subject to expulsion, banning, arrest and/or prosecution for criminal trespass.
Steiner developments act as civic centers - places designed to meet community needs and act as a center for community activity.
Unlike the traditional interior mall development process which often requires clearing attractive surroundings to make way for asphalt parking lots, a new urban retail center seeks to sustain or even add 'greenspace' to the landscape. Trees, plants and water features are integral to the center's design sensibility. The surrounding landscape remains intact to the greatest degree possible.
The social aspect of a Steiner new urban retail center focuses on developing a sense of community. There is a true commitment to achieving measurable community impact. The establishment of the Bayshore Community Foundation has resulted in the awarding of scholarships at nearby high schools, charitable contribution of revenues from the on-street parking meters and the hosting of major community events on the Town Square to support the community in meaningful ways.
The most compelling statement that can be made about a Steiner development is that its founding principle is 'sustained use'. The fully-realized Town Center, shopping districts, park and community areas are intended to survive not just a few decades but for future generations.
You are welcome to email comments and questions regarding any aspect of community relations at Bayshore to us using our contact form.
